Sketch

All right, I promised a sketch of the plan, so here it is:

A couple of things to note here:

First, I'm no good at drawing. The bowl is sitting on a scale which is sitting on a conveyer belt.

Second, I realize I drew all the tubes in a line. This would not necessarily have to be the case. There could be a couple of rows of them, just as long as the rows are close enough together so the bowl only has to move forward and backward along the conveyer belt to be underneath them all--side to side motion is not an option.

Third, you can't see it because I haven't drawn it, but the tubes have covers over them that can be automatically removed so they only dispense ingredients when the bowl is in the proper place.

Fourth, I don't know how much machinery a conveyer belt requires, but whatever it is would go in the bottom cupboards. Whatever space there is left could be used for storage.

Fifth, this is only one possible option. I might have some sort of cover I could put over the conveyer belt so that when I feel like doing my own cooking (or, more likely, the kitchen-robot breaks and I am forced to do my own cooking) I can use the counter as a counter. Alternatively, the conveyer belt may take up only the back half of the counter, leaving the front half available for humans. Or, I might not use a conveyer belt at all. I might instead just put the bowl on some sort of free rolling cart, or a cart on a track.

So there are a lot of possibilities here, and I'm still exploring ideas. Obviously, this is only one aspect of it, as well. I've yet to figure out how I'm going to get things out of the fridge, do the actual mixing, chop vegetables, fry anything or use the stove, put things in the oven, etc. etc. One step at a time...
